Description

(1882) Turtle Mountain City existed for not even a year before the town of Waubeesh appeared not a mile to the north.

Stories

(1880 - 1882) The Boiler Trail provided a detour around the muddiest section of the Boundary Commission Trail.
(1881 – 1887) Waubeesh grew out of Turtle Mountain City and was looking towards a bright an busy future until the railroad bypassed the town by two kms.
