1902 – 1961
Not to be confused with the RM of Cameron, Cameron was a stop on the Lyleton Branch of the Canadian Pacific Railway. It was named after Albert Edward Cameron, an early settler.
In 1903 the Melita paper reported that: "The foundation for the third elevator at the new town of Cameron on the Lyleton extension has been laid."
